Due to their design, magnetic glass boards require suitable, fairly strong neodymium magnets. The glass separates the metal plate from the magnet, which weakens its magnetic force. Small magnets will not be able to hold anything other than themselves on such a surface, so we recommend that magnets for glass magnetic boards have the following dimensions:
- a minimum diameter of 10 mm for round magnets
- at least 10 mm in length or width for plate magnets
